Why not use an append query instead of send keys and extra forms and macros

Okay yeah sure you definitely could use an append query there if you want to. I think my reasoning here was I was trying to show a different method because I know I've done a bunch with append queries in the Expert series, and once you get into macro programming you can do things with GoToRecord and GoToControl. So I think that's what I was thinking at the time, but this lesson is like 7 or 8 years old so... I don't know, LOL.

Yeah... that's the good stuff. That's when the magic happens. :)

I included a bit on macros because (a) a lot of people have no desire to be programmers and learn VBA and are scared of it, (b) it's good to know a little bit about them in case you come across a database where someone else has used them, and (c) at the time, 7 years ago, MS had a thing called Access Web Apps where you could put your database on the web - and it was powered by macros. No VBA allowed.

I had actually planned on making more macro videos... but then MS pulled the plug on Web Apps, so......... byeeeee!!!!
