Did I miss another video? How is your checkbox blue to begin with?

That's the default checkbox color for the version of Access I was using at the time.

So that's not a possible setting with the current version, right? I'm using 365.

I've got the most up-to-date version of Access 365 myself and this is what my default check boxes look like...

Don't feel bad, I also have the latest O365 and have the same boring black and white.
I guess you need to be a Microsoft access VP to get the cool stuff  lol

I just figured something interesting out... if I take a checkbox and make the border style Transparent, it looks like you're describing...

ANY other setting (even if I pick red, thick, etc.) changes it back to the default blue that I had before... so it's either white (transparent) or blue (not transparent).

I still don't see any way to change that blue color though. Old versions of Windows used to give you more control over the different parts of the screen, but Windows 11 scaled that way back. Don't see any other way to change it.

Even the Themes > Custom Colors don't seem to allow you to modify this. (Sami add it to the list!)

I'm already on Windows 11. Do I give up? I'd like to have blue checkboxes!

Did you try setting the Border style to solid?
Stacey Bagaglio OP  @Reply

Yes. Nothing changes.

Have you tried changing the Special Effect of the Checkbox?
Stacey Bagaglio OP  @Reply

Yes. It changes the effect but the box itself stays white.
