Multiple Access Opening
Donald Lader

This is new for me. This morning, I opened Access'no database, just Access. I left for a few hours, and when I came back, I had over 15 Access instances open. There was nobody else in the house. Do you have any idea what could have caused this?

True, it could be the cat; however, I expect more from the dog. It's a beagle, and it's curious. He has been watching me quite a bit lately.

Usually what happens is when you open Access, it doesn't open right away, and you think maybe you didn't click or double-click it property, or maybe you think Windows was glitching, so you open it again, and again...  Sometimes programs just don't open right away, for various reasons.  So you walk away.  And when you come back, you realize all your attempts actually worked.

This usually happens when you open apps for the first time after you boot your computer up into Windows.  Some programs just open slowly for the first time, but fast in all subsequent times.

Thanks, everyone.  I will go with Gremlins after a Microsoft update and reboot.  But I will start watching the dog more closely.
