I have an Access database that was developed in 1996. It is 64-bit and the tables are separate from the front-end. I've been trying to use the Power BI Navigator to load the tables into Power Query. Some of the Access tables are available, some say "table is empty."

I've googled and there is no real solution. The properties of the table are the same and some that display have keys and others do not. I copied one of the tables and it became available in the Navigator.

Is there something Access does when a table is copied that would then allow for the Power BI connector to "see" the records?

I tried setting the SQL option but that did not change anything. I'm wondering if I need to do something to the database.
