I am having the same problem with no grid dots, and I have tried everything listed here, changing regional settings to US and adjusting the X and Y properties of the form (it was set at 10, tried 1 to 23 and no difference, do I need to refresh screen afterwards? I still have no dots. Any suggestions?

If you've tried EVERYTHING listed in this thread, I have no other ideas. Try rebooting your PC, reinstalling Access, etc.
