AI Builder

Hello, Richard.  I'm still very interested in the AI Project.  Full disclosure, I'm not really conversent on AI. From my casual observation, it appears everbody and their brother is releasing some new for of AI almost daily. So, I have three questions:
1) Will your AI program run on other versions of AI?
2) If something new and compelling AI is released (e.g., CPM vs Windows), how would a transition work?
3) Is the program capable of analyzing and correcting VBA code (not just my own, but for DBs we might inherit)?

Can't wait to get my hands on the program. It's very exciting to think of VBA, SQL queries (and Forms?) being created quickly and correctly on the first try (at Warp 5 to boot).

Live long and perspire.

1. This project is specifically built with OpenAI's API in mind, but I'm sure that other AI products out there have similar interfaces. As long as they have a web API, you should be able to reprogram it and figure out how to work with theirs. However, I only use OpenAI myself, so I can't make any other promises.

2. I couldn't answer that question without knowing what the new and compelling updates would be. I wish I had a crystal ball and could see the future, but alas, I still have not yet won the lottery.

3. Version 1.2 of this update allows it to write custom VBA code based on the tables and queries in your database. If you're just looking to correct other code that you've written, I would recommend just using Chat GPT or any AI web-based product. The whole point of this add-in is that it can look inside your database and tell the AI what your table names, field names, query names, and all that stuff are.

Hi George

I use this, it is a very helpful tool. not yet ready to replace us programmers, but very helpful for creating quick VBA code that you can then customize further.

Thanks.  That makes sense.

BTW, what happened to your crystal ball?  Did you leave it out in the yard again? :)
