Richard did very well before Chat GPT, thank you very much.

It makes tedious tasks easier. Like making video transcripts. Who wants to type all that out?

I'm glad he embraced it, the more Richard is working on it, the more we can learn from it, and of course Richard is and will always be a cracking guru in :). Guess we all admire him.  :)

I'm starting to use it more often.  As noted it can make long winded notes a lot easier to do.

Well, as far as writing code goes, GPT is good because you can literally give it the algorithm in English and say, "Write the code for this in VBA." For example, if I want to loop through all the records in the CustomerT where the customer has a credit limit of $5,000 and is from New York, and I want to email all of those customers an invoice, you can give it the parameters and it will just write the code for you.

It helps with stuff that might be tedious but you know how to do. Where it falls short is in coming up with ideas for things that you don't know how to do. After all, it is based on code that other people have written - that's how it knows how to write code. So if you're coming up with something interesting and unique, it might fail, and in fact, it usually does.

So actually Chat GPT has to give money to Richard because almost all the unique code comes from Computer Learning Zone access... :), ohh we are so big....
