Hi, if I have split the database for colleagues to also enter records, can I just use my main database ACCDB to enter orders or do I also have to work with an ACCDE myself. And does the record locker work when I work in the ACCDB main database itself when we are entering orders with various colleagues.

Richard's videos are based on the adjustment of data by several colleagues in an existing record with record locking, this also applies when new records are entered together at the same time. Who then has priority...

I have 30 users using ACCDE Files while I often use my ACCDB file. I have never encountered a problem with record or anything else. Having said that, I would love to know the technical answer

You're fine. Record locking works the same with both.
