Issue with Commands in VBA
Nathan Shepard

Someone in one of my posts in the past.  Give me example of commands.  They got erased after 7 days.

So one more final time.  I am asking for help in examples of the commands in VBA that will do the following:

1. Add a record.
2. Edit a record
3. Display a record
4. Save a record.

I purchased "Access 2019".  The book is 1091 pages.  The problem is what topic or keywords do I look up.
This time I will print it out.  Thank you to anyone that helps me and/or anyone that reads my post.

Use ChatGPT:

1. Visit ChatGPT. https://chatgpt.com/
2. Register or log in to your account.
3. When you want to ask a question related to ACCESS VBA, start your question with "ACCESS VBA," so ChatGPT knows the context.
4. If you don't understand an example provided by ChatGPT, simply ask, "Why..." and continue with your clarification question.

I was gonna say nothing on this site gets erased. I get a notification any time a moderator deletes a post or comment and nothing has been deleted in a long time... And they need a good reason for doing it. Next time check your comment history to find your previous posts.

The posting history only shows the first post of each thread, not the replies to the thread.  Maybe that threw him off.  This is true for all users and specific users.  It only started happening in the past few days.  In my posting history, I can only see threads that I started, not replies I made to other people's threads.  If you look at all user comments ( https://599cd.com/blog/comment-history.asp?ID=56299 ), same thing: only first posts, not subsequent posts.

That's interesting. I'll look into it. Thanks.

You can also perform a Google search of the site if you're looking for something specific. It takes their spider a few days to see new stuff, but I find myself using it a lot.

@Nathan I'm not sure if you mean in VBA code by itself, or using VBA code in a form. If you want an answer to the later, after looking at my demos in YouTube, I'll take you line by line through my code, using Zoom, to show how each thing you asked about is done. As I said in your previous thread, it can get quite complicated.

@Nathan If you want to just do these things in VBA (and just a form for displaying, partial of your #3), search for this video:
