Error varible not defined

I am a little ticked off at you Richard.  I noticed when I use your code.  It always has a error.  I noticed in the encryption seminar.  The Force Change Password and the Registration seminar.

Now once I get your code working.  Which I always seem to get an error.  I change the code, buttons etc.  So I am not pirating your code.

Now force change password I get the following error.
Maybe these errors are intentionally created to get customers to keep buying tech helps, seminars and other classes.

I am sure that the minute Password1 is fixed,  Password2 will come up with a variable not defined.  I pay for courses, seminars, and techhelp so I can learn VBA.  If this is done intentionally.  This game is wasting my time.  My future at this website is on shaky ground.

I may have jumped to the wrong conclusion.  Richard, I owe you an apology. Chalk it to old age.  My conclusions do not add up.  Because the search seminar for example answered a lot learning issues.  I never could get my continuous form to sort or search on one or more fields. It wasn't till I took that seminar that it all clicked in place.   Everything in that seminar worked perfectly.  So I realistically think that my conclusion were wrong.  I am sorry.

I would not be in business very long if I didn't teach the correct way to do things. Sometimes I will teach the WRONG way to do something in a video so it gives you a better appreciation for the RIGHT way that I then show next, but I'd never intentionally leave a bug in my code.

Can you tell me how to fix the variable not defined above in post 1.  I am flabbergasted on how to fix it.  The above is original code from your TechHelp video.

Does Password1 exist as a Control on your Form?

Another option is to download the sample database (there is usually one for each TechHelp, Course, Seminar) and run that. If that works then there's usually some difference between your own and it. Spelling/Naming things is probably a good place to start.

Alex,  The sample Database works perfectly.  I checked my code from top to bottom.  It give the error.  If you do not start out with the "logon form.  Then if password date is more then 60 days old it will display the password change form.  So the issue is fixed.  Thank you Alex!!!!
