Big button issue
Robert Melcher

I am working with the big  button program but applying it to a sandwich menu.
I have 3 tables(sandwich, size, price).I followed part one to create my tables sandwich
being the make, size being the model, and price being the year.
PK's are SandwichID, SizeID, and PriceID. I have attached images for each table.
When I create the query, the sandwich and size work fine but when I add the price table
I get duplicates and only get part of the sandwiches. Attached are the querys. Please take
a look because I don't see the issue.

You don't have all the SizeIDs in the PriceT. There are 24 SizeIDs in SizeT but only 8 in PriceT.

Kevin, thanks for the quick response. I am sorry the third screenshot was not the right image, I accidently uploaded it.

It looks like your getting everything that you should? In your first image, you have 24 records in PriceT, and you get 24 records in your query in your last image.

As Kevin was saying, most of your sizes (and therefore sandwiches) don't have entries in your PriceT. For example if each of your sizes had 3 prices, you should have 72 records in the PriceT.

Your data entry might be easier to understand if you make a form for entering the data with Nested Subforms

I understand what you are saying but I don't see what you are saying. There are 8 sandwiches, each sandwich has 3 sizes and 3 different prices for each size. Every time I add the price table I get the error. I have attached three screenshots, one for the tables, one query for the sandwich and size which works and the third query is with the price table added which doesn't work.

So each sandwich has three sizes if each of those sizes then have three prices then you need to put more data in. There is data missing. if each of those sizes can only have one price then its a one to one relationship not one to many and you don't need the third form. in fact, you may be better off deleting the pricet and putting the price directly in the sizet I'm texting with voice to speech so forgive the oddities

Yea doesn't really apply very well in that situation. Its good for one to many relationships, but no reason for it in a one to one really, would only ever be one option to click anyways then
