My database works fine locally but when I publish the data to SharePoint most of my auto numbers are changed. I'm using 3 self joins for spouse, mother and father. What's the best way to fix this. Once I get this working, I want to publish data to an SQL SERVER not sure what if any issues would come up.  This is just for my learning I don't need SharePoint or SQL server just want to play !!

That's because when you export data to SP it creates an ID field for each table that is exported.  That becomes your autonumber.  Once you export your data to SP, then you can rename the fields in the new "lists" directly on the SP site that match your current local table field names...

I would skip SharePoint and just go to SQL Server :P.
