Changing AllowEdits by VBA

I need a magic phrase.

When the VBA in my "fun" project runs the line:

Forms!frmInputAgreement.Form.AllowEdits = False

the form doesn't accept it.

If i switch to Design mode it stays True.

If i click on the alphabetical order switch at the top right of the Property Sheet the dang value finally switches and the property changes.

What is the magic word to put into my code after asking it to switch to make it switch???

I much appreciate your thoughtfulness. I would have sworn i tried that (the second one) and it refused to change - as a matter of fact, that is the phrase in the third printed line in my op, isn't it?, but now it works fine. I must be going over the deep end...
