Sending with CDO ctd

Is it possible that i am running into the following that is preventing me from connecting:

Timeline for transition
Summer of 2024:

If you (or your users) try to connect to a less secure app for the first time, you will not be able to. This restriction includes third-party apps that still use basic authentication, such as CalDAV, CardDAV, IMAP, SMTP, and POP, to access Gmail, Google Calendar, and Contacts. If you're not trying to connect for the first time, you will be able to continue using the apps until they're turned off.

Could be, I don't use gmail so I can't comment. if that's right, I assume when autumn comes around and it breaks for everybody else we'll see a lot more posts about it, and may get an updated video. In the mean time you might have to make an account with a different provider to send with if you can no longer make new gmail.

After walking away from the computer a little after midnite and calming down, that is pretty mush the direction i was thinking would be necessary; yes, yahooooooooooooooooooooo...
