Single Form Sequential Numbers

I followed the instructions on the video for my single form; however, when I create a new record (after manually numbering the existing records in WONumber field in the WOFramingT), nothing appears where the new workorder # should go on the form. I cannot seem to figure out what I might be missing. I would sure appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

WONumber = DMax("WONumber", "WOFramingT") + 1

DMax() returns Null if there is no record in the table, so you need to account for that. Use the Nz() function to turn Null to zero: Nz(Dmax( ... ), 0) + 1
