Right now I have my field searches as buttons and when the button is clicked, an InputBox pops up for the user's input. Is there any way to make the InputBox into a search as you type instead of adding a text box on the form as a search box like you use in the extended cut of Search As You Type video?

Microsoft defines an InputBox like this. "Displays a prompt in a dialog box, waits for the user to input text or click a button, and returns a String containing the contents of the text box." It sound like the InputBox does nothing until it receives the complete entry. If it is possible, I would suspect it would be more trouble than using a text box.

If you really wanted to use the input box, you might check out Custom MsgBox. You could adapt this to have InputBox-like functionality.
