You need to specify the file you want to copy:

    xcopy "c:\users\public\split\frontend\mydatabase.accdb "c:\users\public\user\" /c /y

Also you have a typo in the destination folder: c:\users\pubilc\user\
pubilc should be public.

Hi, I did try it and at times it did and did not work. So I'll stick with the first way. I did the copy with the code I wrote above, and everything works but when I opened it. It said it's opening in safe mode. Then when I tried to close it the login closed down but the who window was flickering as I tried tox out of it. like it was resetting itself. it was flickering. it wasn't closing down. I had to go to task manager to close it out. Any suggestions.
