Data From 2 Tables

Hi,

I have a stock form bringing data from Stock tables and a Box Table, however, I want to bring in 4 fields from the box file table using the ID tab from the stock file.

The stock file carries the ID from the box file eg 1 Small Box, 2 Medium Box White, 3 Medium Box Brown etc

I want to show more detail on the stock form from the box file etc size, weight tare from the fields within the box file.

What courses do I need to review?

You could do this with a simple query or DLookup depending on your use. Unless you have something more complex going on that I missed.

Hi Julian

It sounds like a one to many relationship where you have data from a Stock Table and related data from the Box Table. Richard has several great videos on one to many relationships. Instead of "bringing in" data it can be managed in 2 forms each with its own table. A single for and a Continuous Form and they are related by the ID field. So, watch videos on Continuous Forms as well.
