Design View Not working

Good morning, friends

I have a DB that all of a sudden, the main menu no longer goes into Design View. If I Select design view from the navigation, it will work. but if I right click on the form to go to design mode nothing happens.

Also once I do the write click, I can't get to design view even from the navigation.

Any idea what is causing this.

BTW I am on my travel laptop. with external monitor.

I have just noticed that forms that are working, right click will show : form, Layout, Design and DataSheet views The forms that design view does not work, only shows: Form and Design views!!

I also noticed that "Close Form" from right click does not work either, very strange.

Hi John, No, it is turned on. It is only one form that has that problem. The fix was creating a new form and copying all the controls. I guess it was one of Access quirks
