SharePoint Part 2

A few people have asked me if I plan to produce a Part 2 to this seminar. Unfortunately, at this time, the answer is "no." There was only a moderate amount of interest (i.e., sales) for this seminar, and the number of folks who have inquired about more SharePoint training doesn't justify the time and effort to make more videos.

Since I recorded this video back in 2020, I have decided to focus more on using SQL Server with Microsoft Access. SharePoint is fine for companies who already have it set up and are actively using it within the organization; however, if you're looking to start something new, SQL Server is definitely a much better solution.

This is not to say that I will never make more SharePoint lessons. I firmly believe that the squeaky wheel gets the grease, so if you are interested in more SharePoint lessons or a Part 2 to this seminar, then post a comment down below, and if enough people are interested, then perhaps it will happen.

I don't currently have SharePoint set up anymore in my office as I moved everything that I use up to SQL Server, but again, based on demand, I might consider it.

Wow. I just finished watching the original SharePoint seminar. What are the chances!

I would love to see SQL Server desktop version installation video.

Thank you Richard for all you do

Could you still make the videos but charge a higher price?  That might make it feasible to create and sell low-demand products.  But you probably have already run the numbers and decided that it wouldn't be feasible anyhow.

I suppose I could, but there's so many other projects I'd rather work on right now, and only a handful of people have asked about more SharePoint lessons, so I think my time is better spent elsewhere. But if I run out of stuff to do, definitely LOL.

This thread is now CLOSED. If you wish to comment, start a NEW discussion in Access SharePoint Seminar.
