Beginnner Level 8 shows you how to search for a Record using a combobox.

I would set up a DonorT that has all the information about the Donor like Name Address etc. Give it a DonorID.

Then set up a DonationsT which has a DonationID | DateTime | etc | Plus add a DonorID which is a Foreign Key of Type Number. Now this is the Relationship you have set up to join the Donor to their Donations.

As Rich suggested you can now create a Form with your Donor info then create another Form with just Donations and add that to the DonorF as a SubForm. This will link on DonorID and show only Donations from that Donor.

You could create a list of all Donor and have a button to open that persons info.

The Search Seminar is great if you want more options to search for different things.

You can then create a Query with both Tables, next a Report based on that Grouped by Donor and list all their donations so you can see them all together.

Have a look at the Tips section and that should give you a good start, just amend them to your own example.
