I am trying to modify the inventory template in the barcoding seminar. When attempting to place the ordersdetailF form on the orders form, I get the following message 'You do not have exclusive rights to the database at this time' How do I get around this?

Hi Robert This can be caused by serval things. Is your database split? Are you the only one using it at the time? Are any of the Forms/Tables involved open? You can always open the database in exclusive mode: Open Database Exclusively

I actually have a video coming out on this soon. Are you the only user in the database? If so, have you restarted the database? Rebooted the computer? Run down the troubleshooting checklist.

THanks Guys. Beteen reviewing the troubleshooting video and completly rebooting the computer (down to shut down not just clsing access which I had done before) the problem was solved. Very helpful!!
