You are so right about not using single quotes as I have just discovered! Fortunately whilst I am still testing and looking for bugs. For once I realised fairly quickly what the problem was and have now replaced a pair of single quotes with double double quotes. As you say Richard the problem with single quotes is if a single quote mark is part of the string. I had apostrophe s in one instance and hey ho I got Microsoft error message LOL

But your string may contain double quotes too. So whether you use double double quotes or single quotes as delimiters, you still have to replace any possible quotes inside your string with double quotes. See picture below.

Thanks Kevin. In my particular case I know that I would not have double double quotes in any string, but good to know that there is a solution if I ever need it!
