As I recall Google Drive provides more space by default.  I have both and I prefer Google over OneDrive.  I think Richard went into it a little on one video.

Your Google Drive shares storage space with your Gmail.  The free 15 gigabytes storage is used by both Gmail and Drive.  But OneDrive is different: the free plan gives you 5 GB of cloud storage plus 15 GB of email space.

FYI. I use Ms 365 Business Standard that includes 1 TB of storage. Nowadays Ms 365 Family offers 1 TB as well. My Google Drive was full just with the pics and movies from my Android phone. For important documents I don't use Google Drive or OneDrive.
