Error Message
William DeGrandis

I am getting an Error Message saying, "Member already exists in an object module from which this object module derives". Can you tell me what this mean and how to fix It PLEASE?
I am trying to learn VBA so I think it has something to do with my VBA code.

did you try to create a Class Module?

Know I didn't yet. I think I just name two things the same thing. But I will try your Class Module.

Sound like you have a variable, sub or function with an invalid name. Perhaps a property or method.
Using Backcolor or Forecolor, for example, would cause an error if used to name a procedure.

ok I will check the names of everything. I am pretty new to VBA. I am just monkeying around with VBA. I am handicap so It takes me time to learn stuff.

No. That's going to be its own course or at least a seminar. Most Access developers won't ever need to use SQL Server.

That is very true. But for those who are developing apps for medium size companies, there is no escaping SQL server.

I benefited immensely from the current SQL server seminar.

Without it, I would not have been able to migrate my customers to it.

I migrated to SQL Server in the early 2000s because of the need to have online connectivity.  To those undecided on whether to migrate or not, let me tell you: all it takes is ONE remote user that forces you to make a decision.  That was what happened to me in the early 2000s: a remote site that had never required computer usage suddenly needed to be computerized and connected.  An Access-only solution would make such a task difficult, if not impossible.  In the early 2000s, such a need might not be common.  But it sure is nowadays.  The forum posts here have shown an uptick in mentioning online needs, I've noticed.
