Yes, you can import the table from Richars's database into yours
External Data --> New Data Source --> From Database --> Access

then follow the prompts.

Can I use the opendatabase statement to actually open the .accdb and actually develope new forms or reports ect or do I have to go into the database manually to do that?

After I get out of the database that I used the opendatabase statement on, I'm not permitted to do ANY maintenance on any object. I get the following message:
You do not have exclusive access to the database at this time. If you proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save them later.

How do I get around this?

Can you shed some light on why you want to do development work on a db that you open thru this method?

I download each of your lessons as a seperate database. With OpenDatabase I can access each lesson and I was hoping to access lesson code to read or modify without actually having to go directly into the database. Not sure if that's even possible.

Could just import the objects into your master db and add a prefix or tag.
