Control Source of a Text Box

I have a text box control that will contain data like the following:
Record 1-"ABC123"
Record 2-"ABC234"
Record 3-"ABC556" etc.
Can I put code in the control source of this field to automaticly say the "ABC" part then user adds the numeric protion?

No. If you put it in the Control Source the user won't be able to change it.
Use the Default Value property instead.
