Input Mask or Format

I have field, "Violation Code" (A 123456).
Question: How do I write the input mask for this?
Or is it the format that I need to change?

It looks like you have a space between the letter and the numbers so the Input Mask would be: `>L&000000` Without the space: `>L000000` The > forces uppercase. Microsoft have a table of codes you can use with Input Mask. Control data entry formats with input masks
