When Would You Use This Feature

I am a little confused about why would you have this feature.  Can’t you just change the info directly on the form itself? Why need a Popup to change it? I am trying to understand when would you need this feature? It is a cool feature and I want to incorporate it in my database.

One good thing is you could add additional fields/abilities without taking up form space on the main form in the popup. For instance, if you only stored a customers city, you could have it on the city field when you open the city field it has combo boxes that narrow down the city choices by cascading combos with a state/zip field kind of thing.

Or you could use currentdb.execute with it. Maybe you do the change, but then you currentdb a "note" into another field or table about the change. Maybe you change a credit limit and want to leave a note in another table "did not pay his bill" or something.

Or you could use it with unbound forms,

Or you could use it with a form that is locked down or no edits, and use it to unlock/change a specific field.

I'm sure there's other uses too, some might be helpful, some might not make sense to use it. But like Richard always says, he's just giving you Lego pieces, which ones you use and how you put them together is up to you ;).
