Formatting Error Getting PDF Content

I am using the method provided here (the "Document Index" Tech Help video) to read the contents of a PDF into a long text type text box using Word automation (late binding). The sentences run together, and carriage returns from the PDF are missing. The result is tough to read. Word documents come in as originally formatted. Not so, PDFs. Does anyone understand how to resolve this? I'd love some help. Thanks!

Try opening the PDF in Word first and then pull in the Word document.

Joe, that is precisely how the procedure works. It utilizes Word automation to open the PDF, copy its contents, and paste them into the text box. Perhaps you are suggesting some variation from that that I'm not understanding. If so, could you please provide a more detailed explanation?

My thought was if you cannot bring in the text from a PODF directly, you could use Word's ability to open and convert a PDF to a Word document first and then use your procedure to import the text from Word into your text box.
