When putting in the string of instructions to include a Full Name field to include first and last name,(concatenation the application asks me for Full Name and First name instead of following the instructions to make a single field into the First and last Name. I have Access 2007 and you are teaching with Access 2010 (if that makes any difference).

That trick works all the way back in the earliest versions of Access. You likely have something spelled wrong.
