You can use this strategically on Reports.

You can set some CanShrink to 'No' and some CanGrow to 'Yes' so you can keep a minimum space for visual consistently, while allowing all the information to be available when needed.

What's also nice, if you put a line at the top or bottom of the section, it will also move with the Shink/Grow.

This is very helpful. I can now modify my reports to look more uniform. I noticed I need the header/detail section to have the same CanGrow/Shrink settings according my textboxes.

Another option you can use to make your reports easier to read (depending on how you want it to look) is in the Details section:

Set Keep Together to Yes or No

If you set this to No... the entire page will be used even if part of a record is on one page or runs onto another page.

If you set this to Yes... it will keep the entire record together.  This may take a little more paper, but depending on how you want your reports to look, this can be very helpful.
