Fitness Database Online

I believe in either the first or second videos of this series you had mentioned some things you might cover in it. I was wondering if you might still be considering the asprct of putting this database up online? Thanks for all the teaching you do so well and LLAP

Yeah, it's definitely in my thought process, and I definitely want to do that, if nothing else, for myself because I'd like to be able to quickly see what I've got going on as far as food and exercise goes that day. Whether or not it's part of the TechHelp series, I don't know. I might just make it a separate seminar because I can already see now that we're down to Level 10 that the views just drop off. After 3, 4 or 5 videos, the people who aren't interested drop off - even though I keep telling people it's not just about fitness. People will still see that I'm still doing the fitness videos and then go watch something else. So I think I might have hit the limit as far as viewership goes, but we'll see. I'm gonna add it even if it's just for myself and a few other people. I just don't know how I'll go about doing it.

I've learned a lot from this series so far, some of the stuff I had never seen you do - so thanks. Are the numbers down on the website? YouTube? Both?

I suppose I can see people's thought process and the drop-off. It doesn't mean I agree with it. I have learned something new in every video. I would be open to whichever way you think would be best, but I would be very interested in that process. Thanks for everything you do to make the best all-around content for us.

This series is fantastic! You should rename "How to build a database right from the start".

You know, I actually did think about doing something like that when I'm finished with the series. Make an intro video called "How to Build a Microsoft Access Database Correctly from Start to Finish" or something along those lines.

And then just say, "Look, I know a lot of people aren't watching this series because they're not interested in fitness at all. But this is the series to watch if you want to learn, start to finish, that kind of thing. Because I know this series isn't getting anywhere near the number of views that I normally get, just because there are a lot of people that don't care about tracking their fitness in a database. But that's not the point. Well, it's the point for me, but you know what I mean. But yeah, I'm probably gonna do something like that."

Maybe stitch all the videos together into one long one because I've seen that my single 4-hour video of Microsoft Access Beginner 1 gets more views and more people watching it to the end than the individual videos.

Since you have a beginner video, note this one as intermediate or advanced since it has VBA, recordsets, SQL, etc. Make sure to title it as you planned as "How to Build a Microsoft Access Database Correctly from Start to Finish" as people likely would search for that. Make sure to charge money too. We want you flush with cash so you keep helping all of us :) This is my favorite series as it has all the tips, tricks, and techniques. Nice work!
