Dont't want to spoil code, but you could try something like:

ElseIf F.Name = "HasEaten" Then
                ' set to false
                rsOut!HasEaten = False

I tried this in the stock database the Richard is building and this doesn't happen.
I would rewatch the videos to see where you went wrong.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Richard copies all fields except for the ID and date. If Len has already checked off his meals as eaten, then they should also be copied as eaten, right?

Yes. I clicked the button and since the Record Selectors are turned off I didn't notice the record was dirty.
I would also throw in a Me.Dirty = False sometime before the Recordset stuff.

Thanks for your comments. I could try playing with the code, but I think I wait to see what Richard does. I suppose I could try eating less!
