Hi Richard. I am building a database for 11 account managers with associated customers. Your sample database's structure lends itself to my project very nicely - thank you! I have one question: how can I tailor the main menu for each account manager so they only see the forms for their customers, contacts, etc., while I can see everyone's customers, contacts, etc., in the tables? Can they click on themselves in the employee form you have and set it up that way? I already have an account manager table and a customer table set up as one to many. Thank you very much!
Reply from Richard Rost:
You could set up a combo box on your main menu to pick a user and then use that to filter what records are displayed throughout the rest of the database. However, unless you properly SECURE your database and set up user logons, there's nothing to stop users from poking around in other records.
