Thank you for your reply.  I think I understand the combo box that would link the first table to the second table but what filters the tables that relate to the second table?  In other words, my database has a grandparent, a parent and many, many grandchildren (to borrow their metaphor). How do I relate the grandchildren accounts to a grandparent filter?  Do I need to put the employee ID on every grandchild account?  Is there a particular lesson I could watch?  I have ordered and watched the beginner and expert series although I've only gotten through the expert level classes once not twice.

If you want to track relationships between people, I highly recommend my RELATIONSHIP SEMINAR. I cover something called a Self Join where a table can relate to itself. This is perfect for tracking people, their parents, children, grandparents, etc.
