I've installed Adobe Photoshop on my computer, and I'm getting a Photoshop .bmp logo, even after turning the images to bitmaps. Then I right-clicked on the image on my desktop to pick "open with" and changed my default file type for .bmps from Photoshop to Paint. Now I get a paint logo showing the .bmp file.

That sounds about right. I like to use Paint for BMPs too.
