Just learned the key down event through the Fitness Series. Struggled to implement and stumbled across this video. Still getting an issue, when I press tab it jumps to the field immediately after (per tab order) the one I am trying to send it to. Any thoughts? Here is my code:

If KeyCode = vbKeyTab And Shift = 0 Then
        Parent!FirstName.SetFocus
        DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNewRec
End If

You have to swallow the KeyCode `If KeyCode = vbKeyTab And Shift = 0 Then Parent!FirstName.SetFocus DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNewRec KeyCode = 0 End If`

Of course I have lol. Thank you Kevin...I need to slow down and focus on one thing at a time I think.
