Send Email Using CDO Problem

I'm having a little difficulty understanding Part 2 of the Send Email using CDO Part 2 video.

I'm getting a " The transport failed to connect to the server" error.

Would that be something to do with the SERVERPORT ( I'm using 465 )?

Or

SMTPSERVER = "smpt.live.com" for a Hotmail address I'm sending from.

Also why does the from address need to be specified again under the "Send Email" button on the send email form?

I take it that SMTP server name smtp-mail.outlook.com is for my online outlook account and server port 587 is correct. It also gives Authentication Method OAuth2/Modern Auth And smtp encryption STARTTLS The encryption method and authentication method aren't mentioned in the email configuration module in Part 2 video. Should I need that ?

Tried a few different ports and checked passwords etc but still getting "The transport failed to connect to the server " error.

All my variables ie To, From, Subject, Body along with all the configuration settings for my mail object are setting sent into the send email function with no problems each time but the vba stops at
Msg.send

I'm wondering is it to do with that encryption method for outlook?
