Balance Currency Format

Is there a way that I can force a Currency format on the Balance field, so it quits chopping off the zeros?

Yes. You can set the Format property either in the table design or on the form control. I generally recommend setting it on the form, since that affects how the user sees it without changing the underlying value stored in the table.

For the Balance text box, set its Format property to Currency. That will display the value using your Windows regional settings, including the currency symbol, commas, and two decimal places.

If you want to force a particular display regardless of regional settings, use a custom format such as:

$#,##0.00

That will show values like $1,234.00 and will keep the trailing zeros visible. The actual number in the field is not being chopped off - Access is just displaying it using the General Number format.

Thank you, but I had better explain better In my Table it is formatted as currency, however When I use the Replace function Example MsgBody2 = Replace(MsgBody2, "*Balance*", Nz(RS!Balance, "")) It shows up in the email as $172.5 instead of $172.50

When you pull the value directly from the recordset, you get the raw numeric value, not the table field's display formatting. Apply Format() when you do the replacement:

MsgBody2 = Replace(MsgBody2, "*Balance*", Format(Nz(RS!Balance, 0), "Currency"))

That will give you $172.50 instead of $172.5, using your Windows regional currency settings.
