What the role entails:

You'll assess an existing Access database, untangle its queries, macros, and dependencies, and recommend a replacement architecture and migration roadmap. Deep Access knowledge, advanced SQL, and SAP Ariba experience are required. Oracle experience is a strong plus.

About Elite Technical:

Elite Technical is a technical staffing firm recruiting for an unnamed client.

Rick's take:

This is substantial Access work for an experienced developer who enjoys understanding somebody else's database. Expert-level fundamentals help, but enterprise integration and technical leadership matter too. Access skills alone won't cover the SAP requirement. Planning a migration still requires someone who understands the existing application and its business logic. Confirm compensation before investing much time in the application process.
