Whilst I understand you do not like to use nav forms - my main menu is becoming ridiculously large, do you have an alternative, or just create more forms for the menu to feed into?  Also, I like how the navigation form displays the form or report right next to the click of a button on the one form, is there an alternative way to get the same result?

You can create multiple Menu Forms and link them to each other.
You could also hide the Ribbon and the Navigation Pane to give more room to your Forms.

You could just use Sub-Forms.
