how do we create search text button? If I have a list of thousands of customers and would like a button to just be able to type the customer acct number and click the button and it pulls up that record.

There are a couple of options. Check out this TIP. There is a Seminar on Searching Or you could use the search in the navigation bar at the bottom of the Form
