I think you briefly mentioned this but couldn't you just set up the relationship between SalesRep and Region as a many to many one and then make the table a junction table? This would avoid the intermediary query, correct? Or am I way off base?
SalesRep to Region has to be many-to-many in order for SalesReps to have multiple states, and for states to have multiple SalesReps. The query is only because we want to display the data in that format with the DLookupPlus function. Unless I'm not understanding your question...
