Yes, the Barcode Seminar has been high on my list for years. It's coming! Basically the barcode part of it is easy. To read barcodes, you just have to buy a scanner - $30 or so on Amazon. I'll find a couple that I recommend and provide links. You also need a barcode FONT to print your own barcodes. Again, I'll find a cheap/free one to recommend. I've been out of the barcode game for a few years so I just need to do a little research to find out what's current and available. I've developed many barcoding solutions in the past - both for clients and for my own business, but we're going back to the early 2000s when I still sold hardware. I created a system so every time we received parts from a supplier a custom barcode was placed on each part (hard drive, motherboard, etc.) When that part was used in a client's computer build, it was scanned into their order. This way I knew EXACTLY what parts the client had (so they couldn't swap out hard drives for example), what we had in inventory, etc.

I don't think you answered Juan's question about "Can Access generate a QR code?"

Without 3rd party software, no, Access cannot generate a QR code on its own. In the Barcode Seminar, however, I show you how to generate a barcode online, download it locally as an image file, and then incorporate that into your reports.
