hi Richard, In lesson 3 with Docmd.OpenForm, you say you prefer the where condition to a filter. But when I apply this where command it does work like a filter. it only shows the record with the specified Customer iD, the other records are not visible until I switch off the filter.
I've softened my stance on Filters since I recorded this video 4 years ago. Filters aren't as bad I used to treat them. LOL. A WHERE condition will open ONLY that record and not give you the opportunity to "unfilter" the form. Both are fine. It all just depends on what you want to do.
