Hi Carl, this is explained and shown how to manage in the Developer courses.  It was a case of printing an invoice but later had to update the address, and still keep the original quote for record keeping.  look in the Develop 20 and up Richard goes into greate detail as to why you may need to keep the original record.  Short answer Yes but you will need to follow the class and understand the method to his madness.

Hi Carl. I answered your email, but I'll post what I wrote here for everyone else's benefit too: D24 is exactly what you need. You want to copy an quote and make it an invoice. That lesson shows you how to make a copy of an invoice. All you need to do following that is have a field in your OrderT that indicates whether or not it's a QUOTE or an INVOICE. That's the only difference. A Yes/No field. You don't need to separate sets of tables. If you even want to link one to the other you can. Just put an OriginalQuoteID field in the OrderT. I cover differentiating between a Quote and an Invoice in the same table in Access Expert 10, but honestly if you can understand the material in Developer 24, you probably don't need it.
