Hello Rick
I wrote a Pairs game using a gallery of photos and although the game played well I had display problems.
Whenever I revealed a picture ALL the picture repainted. On my machine it was just irritating but on a slow machine it was so painfully slow that it was not playable.
I will have to revisit it when I have some time.

If you do something like:

if X=4 then
   Pic1.visible = false
   Pic2.visible = false
   Pic3.visible = false
   Pic4.visible = true
else...

Then yes, they'll all flash/redraw. Try to ONLY show/hide one element at a time.
