Front End Form Passwords

Hi again, I am posting my database to sharepoint. I created the frontend and back end files and loaded them. The issue I have is when the DB opens to my main menu form and the user clicks an option which requires them to enter their password nothing happens. I do not get the password pop up. Is there something I need to do to the front end file?

What kind of security have you put on your database? Like Scott mentioned, I've got a bunch of different lessons on security.

On the data base I built a main menu like you did in one of your sessions. I put two buttons on the main menu, a developer button and then a Project lead button. depending on which button another menu opened exclusive for that role. I password protected the buttons. The developer one password different from the Project Lead button and all worked excellent, nice course by the way on menus. Then I watched your course on closing the navigation pane and setting my pages to windows not tabs. All worked perfect. I then watched your course on front end and back end files I did that and was able to get the database loaded to our SharePoint site. But the buttons did not work. I could not get them to work so I took the PW off the buttons and everything works. Now I have lost that level of security until I figure out what I did wrong. I just want to say I have learned so much over the last year. I am not an expert by any means but I am coming along. Thanks!

Without seeing your database it's impossible for me to tell what went wrong, but like Scott suggested, if you want REAL security for your front-end check out the Security Seminar.
