Tracking Vendor Issues
James White

I have multiple vendors that have compliance issues, some may have one compliance issue and others may have many compliance issues. I want to be able to track each issue per vendor separately. As an example, VendorA-Out of compliance with section 1 of the contract (this is one issue), VendorB-Out of compliance with Section 1 and Section 2 of the contract (these are 2 issues for this one vendor)

Do you have a problem you're encountering or is there a question you need help with?

No problem encountered. Is there a way to track the above?

Sure, lots of ways you could do it. It's not so easy to blindly advise you if you haven't started the project and don't have any problems yet though, I don't know what you're doing for sure or what you want to do with your database. Watch those 2 videos, a relationship is going to be the core behind tracking the issues to vendors.

If you're just creating an issue or "ticket" and then assigning a problem to it, you can use a one to many.

if you're assigning pre-set problems (Section 1 Contract for example) to vendors, use a many to many

Help Desk might help as well. It's the same idea, assigning tickets to customers.
